Hi! We are Kyle and Betsy Black, the owners and principal photographer and videographer of Ever After Studios. We love being able to share in the unification of two individuals and feel blessed to get to work with such wonderful people each day!
We met, fell in love and married in August of 2014. Already a photographer and a videographer long before we knew each other, we decided that after our wedding we would join together to establish a one stop shop for wedding photography and videography services.
We would feel honored to capture the memories of your happily ever after!

In her freetime, Betsy loves to sleep. She fancy's anything, polka dot or pink and sparkly. According to her, Ranch goes with just about anyting.
She loves God, fashion, sewing, her two cats (Grady and Mew) and anything Hello Kitty. Betsy loves summer and will spend whatever free days she has laying the sun out in Saugatuck.
This past Christmas, Betsy took on another role - Mom. She loves her son, Oliver so much and enjoys spending time with him and her hubby.

Kyle studied film production at Compass Film Academy and The Los Angeles Film Center. After working for 20th Century Fox, Kyle returned to West Michigan in 2006 to bring the element of cinematic story telling into wedding films.
Kyle can be described as an early riser with an outgoing personality. He enjoys a good cup of coffee in a peaceful setting (his time with God), corny jokes, new places and has a passion for the arts.
In his freetime he loves spending time with his wife and son, Oliver. He also enjoys golfing, fishing and college football. Spending time with family and friends is a must and he is a huge fan of the fall season and the elements the season brings.
Trevor studied film and video productions at the Art Institute of Tampa. Having enough of Florida's hot climate and missing the northern seasons, he returned home to West Michigan to explore creative opportunities in the area.
Through a mutual connection, Trevor met up with Betsy and Kyle in 2013 and joined the Ever After Studios Team. He enjoys telling the story of a couples special day that will be cherished for a lifetime by family and friends.
Between weddings, Trevor spends time in other artistic fields such as drawing, paintig and finding new music. He claims he can sometimes annoy his wife and daughter by stomping and slapping his knees pretending to be a real drummer.
In his free time he enjoys being with his family, whether camping or just a simple walk in the park.

Chelseigh attended Second City Improv School - Chicago, where her passion for the arts grew. After working in Chicago, she fond herself more interested in being behind the camera instead of in front. She furthered her education with a degree in Marketing from Davenport University.
Her love for weddings started in 2001 when she first saw the film, "The Wedding Planner". She soon found herself working in the wedding industry which lead to connecting with Betsy and Kyle. It wasn't long after that, she found herself as a part of the Ever After Studios Team.
Chelseigh enjoys snowboarding, event planning, and water activities. She has a love for special needs children and occasionally you will find her in a mascot suit at the Whitecaps.
"She is clothed with strenth and dignity; and she laughs without fear of the future." - Proverbs 31:25
